Microsoft Attempts Viral Video and Fails
Do you like this story?
So we're supposed to believe that someone just happened to walk into the Microsoft store in Mission Viejo, California, juuust as the staff happened to break into a choreographed dance routine? Sorry. We don't believe it. ("We", by the way, is the "royal we", but you probably don't believe that this video is spontaneous, either".) The other reason I think this was staged: if it wasn't, then that means that the staff had to bust out this dance routine with some regularity, hoping to get filmed. I'm just not ready to take that image onboard.
Some tips on how to make your wannabe-viral video better:
Get either a wider or more aggressive camera angle
Make sure to capture the music, too
Make it awesome, or you leave the staff of the Mission Viejo Microsoft Store twisting in the wind. Not cool.
On the other hand, aside from the rip-off staff shirts, the Microsoft store actually looks pretty cool: dare I say it, even better than the Apple store (which is all Stepford) and the SonyStyle store (which looks like a hospital supply closet).
My advice, though: do what I do at parties: do not dance.
